Three bedroom, two-and-a-half bathroom family home on a moderately sloped lot with excellent sea views.
The shed roof at the rear of the building was specifically designed to host the clients’ solar panel array. This roof is oriented to the south and sloped at 17 degrees (approx. 3:12) to maximize the efficiency of the panels. The flat roof areas give easy access to the panels for maintenance and repair. A Battery Room is provided at the basement/cistern level to store energy from the array.
The clients chose to turn the roof of the carport into an upper level Deck which allows guests to enjoy even better views.
Large boulders on the site are to be incorporated into the support wall for the driveway and parking area.
