Concrete: Heart's Desire

Designed to be a Pool House and short-term vacation rental, this cottage will also serve as the owner’s residence when on-island.  It includes a downstairs “Owner’s Closet” where personal items can be secured when the property is tenanted.  The main structure is raw concrete, intended to be cast with a board-forming detail on the exterior, and selected interior feature walls.  The fixtures and finishes will embody a contemporary and tropical twist on a mid-Century Modern aesthetic, as can be found in select surviving Caribbean homes of that period.
